Free choral workshops for Men

Starting on 11 October Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus is offering an exciting opportunity to men are interested in joining

The Chorus is providing a series of music-reading workshops for any men who think they may like to sing with us but who are deterred because they think their music-reading skills are not good enough.

The workshops are open to men who have experience of any kind of choral singing and interested in improving their music-reading skills. At the sessions, taught by a professional music teacher, you will practise generic music-reading skills such as rhythm and interval pitching. After the workshop, participants join the main chorus rehearsal at 7pm, sitting next to a supportive existing singer. Workshops are free of charge.
